Growing a Church: The need for membership status and monitor
Discussion and Rationale:

Unfortunately,….

The lack of….
The following…
1. To be considered a member of the Filipino Ministry, each one should sign the membership pledge sheet. The membership composition of the groups shall be based on the number of people who sign the pledge sheet. This shall be adjusted accordingly as new members accepted.
2. Attendance to the Filipino Ministry service on Sabbath afternoon shall be monitored by the assigned secretaries of the groups.
3. Members shall be classified as ACTIVE and INACTIVE based on a quarterly review of the membership list.
4. In order to remain in ACTIVE status, a member has to attend the afternoon FM worship services at least 3 times a quarter (or at least once a month). Valid excuses for absence include sickness and travel out of the country. However, members are expected to inform the secretary of their group of their whereabouts and why they were unable to attend. Failure to do so will render their absence as unexcused.
5. A member’s status shall be considered INACTIVE of he/she fails to attend at least 3 times a quarter. However, this can be reversed if an individual is able to meet the requirements for ACTIVE membership on the following quarter.
